It all began in 1871, when a young, courageous pioneer by the name of Johan Jakob Frey established the yarn trade in Zurich, Switzerland. The thriving business remained in the Frey family until 1950 when Carl B. Weber acquired the company and changed the name to Carl Weber & Co. or short CWC. Today, CWC Textil AG is still family-run in its 3rd generation, always ensuring that the wealth of know-how and expertise is passed down the line. Our long-standing family history, tradition and values are evident in every business transaction we provide.
