CWC Textil has a rich history in yarn production and trade, dating back to 1871 when Johan Jakob Frey established the company in Zurich, Switzerland; it remained in the Frey family until 1950 when Carl B. Weber took over the business and changed the name to Carl Weber & Co. Today, CWC is still family-run in its 3rd generation, and the wealth of know-how and expertise which is being passed on is evident in every business transaction we provide.
It all began in 1871, when a young, courageous pioneer by the name of Johan Jakob Frey established trade in Zurich, Switzerland. Founded in 2008, CWC Eco was put in charge with the CWC’s eco lines. The flagship thereby is our Natural Color Cotton® (NCC).
More than 100 years of tradition and experience in manufacturing have made Swisstulle one of the European market leaders in traditional, genuine bobbinet tulle and knitted fabrics for a wide variety of market segments. At the eurocentric location in Switzerland, Swisstulle develops and produces innovative, high-quality knitted fabrics and tulle for their customers worldwide. Besides Switzerland Swisstulle also operates subsidiaries in Southern England as well as in Eastern China in the province of Shandong.
Our 25 employees ensure that your desired curtains, drapes and decorations are professionally made from the materials you supply to them. Over the past fifty years, the curtain factory has grown into a highly qualified studio supporting specialist retailers and the contract sector. The Gardinenfabrik has been part of the Swisstulle AG family since 1982.
